1.016 Device 'Time Remapper'

Postby artkitekt » Wed Nov 20, 2013 3:04 pm

The latest release of ATK introduces a new beta device!

'Time Remapper': Expand, compress, play backward, or freeze track animation - Matrix style. Inspired by After Effects time remapping. This tool connects the playback of animated tracks to parameters on a control object.

Featured parameters:
Time - The current play time. This can be animated or set to a custom controller (ie. noise, sound etc.)
Delay - The offset in time for the node. Prism enabled.
Jitter - Randomized offset for delay. Prism enabled.

Below is a quick tutorial showing how to spice up a stale MassFX simulation. Prism is used to create a delay bias on one side of the ball.

We just bought ATK a few days ago and we were precisely needing to do some time remapping stuff (matrix style), but we didn't even knew of this update! So it's more than welcome!

Thanks all!

Madail, that's great to hear it may have been a useful update! Would you find a mailing list useful to stay in the loop on updates?
