overlap settings

Postby Coldie » Tue Jun 07, 2016 8:41 am

I'm really struggling to understand the overlap/prism settings. What do the start and end numbers relate to? Typically I like to animate large arrays of objects with overlaps. My current workflow is to animate all the objects in the array, and then I would like to animate this in a kind of rippling effect from the centre outward. See attached.

It would be great to know the settings to get a nice fluid ripple animation triggered from the sphere outward. There must be a nice way to do it because they have the floor collapsing in the demo video.

Cheers

Hi, I believe you can use radial to get that kind of effect - im also struggling with the settings for another problem but I've managed to get a similar effect for a different purpose. Hope it helps
